Returns and Exchanges

RETURNS:

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since receiving your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If the item was not shipped in the original packaging then you must provide the original shipping label with the product and receipt.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

Non-returnable items Include:

  • Gift cards
  • Products that are not defective
  • Products that did not meet your expectations
  • Any undergarments or bathing suits
  • Any sex toys or personal hygiene items
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Any item in transit with a tracking number (see cancellation policy below)

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, original shipping label, as well as the defective product.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. We will provide a return shipping address to you after your return request is reviewed and approved.

RESTOCKING FEES:

All returns and exchanges requests must be approved by the Returns Center. If the RMA number is approved, the following fees may be incurred. 

REFUNDS:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS:

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS:

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES:

To submit a request for a Return or Exchange please visit our Returns Center. 

GIFTS:

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate or store credit will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.

RETURN SHIPPING:

To return your product, you should follow instructions sent to you after contacting support@mostlyshades.com.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

CANCELLED ORDERS:

We do our best to process your order as soon as possible, so we are only able to cancel orders within 24 hours of your purchase. If it has been more than 24 hours after your purchase, then the order must be returned following the return policy as soon as the goods are received.

Any approved cancellations outside of the order cancellation period may incur a restocking fee for the order cancellation. The applicable restocking fees are outlined above under Restocking Fees.

The terms and conditions of the returns and exchanges policy will be used to determine whether or not your order is eligible for a refund.

GOOD WILL:

There are certain situations where only partial refunds, store credit, or discount codes are granted as an act of good will. If you have any questions regarding the terms of our Returns and Exchanges Policy, please email us at support@mostlyshades.com.

CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE:

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time at this page.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
